Barbora Mikulová

Founder, Lead Designer of Harnessia, CEO of BAMBA SPHERE s.r.o.

Since childhood, Barbora has shown a deep interest in art, design, and fashion. As a child, she spent hours drawing, designing clothes, and admiring the beautiful details of clothing and artwork. This natural talent and passion for creativity led her to attend the School of Applied Arts Josef Vydra in Bratislava, where she had the opportunity to develop her skills and artistic sensitivity.

After completing her studies, she decided to fully immerse herself in the world of fashion with a unique vision: to create something original, something that would not only be practical clothing but also an artistic expression that would touch people and bring a piece of elegance and extravagance into their everyday lives.

Barbora constantly sought ways to connect fashion with art, so her creations would stand out from the crowd. When she decided to continue her education at university, she chose the field of Visual Arts Animation, which allowed her to further enhance her artistic abilities. During this period, she began actively working on turning her dreams and desires into tangible reality.

“I saw enormous potential in harnesses. I wanted to transform these unique, almost artistic pieces into something people could wear every day, not just on special occasions. I believe that fashion should not only be about trends but also about expressing individuality, personal style, and comfort. That’s why I boldly and confidently embarked on the final design and production of my own products.”

Laura Gašparíková, while studying at the University of Economics in Bratislava, leads our Harnessia workshop. Her passion for craftsmanship and creativity began in childhood when she was introduced to traditional textile techniques such as embroidery, crocheting, and sewing. These early experiences helped her develop a keen sense of detail and precision, which she now applies to her work.

In the Harnessia workshop, Laura fully utilizes her creativity and technical skills to create high-quality, visually rich leather accessories. Every product crafted under her guidance carries the signature of quality and careful craftsmanship. For Laura, it is essential that each piece is not only aesthetically appealing but also functional and durable. Her attention to detail and ability to combine traditional techniques with modern elements ensure that the products from the Harnessia workshop are unique and excellently crafted.
